People ask me about the online version of QuickBooks and this is what I say: If the business has less than 30 transactions per month than using the online version is acceptable, but it will take longer to do the bookkeeping and it will be harder to find a bookkeeper who knows the program well. Any more than 30 transactions per month it's just too slow to use a browser-based program where keyboard shortcuts and other functions are so limited. I'd rather beat my head on the wall for 2 hours than spend 2 hours entering data on the online version. Sorry.
