The ordinance applies to all employers with more than four full-time equivalent employees. All employees are eligible for the new benefit, including full time, part-time and temporary workers.

Tracking this new sick/vacation may be difficult for QuickBooks users who are already using the 2 available methods for tracking paid time off in QuickBooks. Adding another method to the tracking in QuickBooks is not possible, so employers who want to track the new PSST hours separately will have to get very creative, or find a solution outside of QuickBooks.
