1. Open “Write Checks”
2. Move cursor to “Payee” field
3. Enter “Command-l”. This opens the master list of all names
4. From the “Edit” menu chose “Re-sort List”

How to Re-sort the Master Names List in QuickBooks for Mac

When I select Command L my screen blanks out and the login window appears.

You are using the correct keys, but maybe you are not in the Payee field in "Write Checks" window.
ReplyDeleteIt's "Command" on Mac and "Control" on Windows. Hope that helps!
